Hemavan Tärnaby Airport is located in the heart of the Västerbotten mountains, within walking distance to ski lifts and the Kungsleden trail. We operate regular flights to Stockholm six days a week and serve a vital community function by receiving ambulance flights, police, military, and private aircraft year-round.

We are now looking for new colleagues to join our team as Traffic Assistants at Hemavan Tärnaby Airport.

The Role

This position offers a varied working time percentage throughout the year. You will work 50% for most of the year and 100% during the high season months of February to April. Shift work may be required during the summer high season. There is also potential for increased working hours depending on your skills and operational needs.

Your Responsibilities

As a Traffic Assistant, you will handle passenger and baggage check-in, ticketing services, arrival and baggage services, as well as passenger guidance. The role also includes administrative tasks and cleaning duties.

Good computer skills are required as the job involves handling various systems. You are meticulous and positive in your interaction with both travelers and staff. Since you are part of a team, we place great emphasis on you being a good team player and having a suitable personality.

Requirements and Merits

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have completed a three-year upper secondary education.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Additional language skills are considered an asset.
• Good computer literacy.
• Previous experience in the aviation industry, particularly with systems like Amadeus or Altéa, is an asset.
• Several years of experience in similar service roles is an asset.

Safety and Employment

Safety is a top priority at Hemavan Tärnaby Airport. Since the work is performed in a security-classified area, it is a requirement that you are not listed in the criminal record register. A security clearance and background check will be conducted before an employment decision is made.

Working hours vary and may include early mornings, afternoons/evenings, and Sundays, as Sundays are major travel days for us.
